Fallen Movers

These guys are the BEST! In 3.5 hours they loaded up heavy furniture and tons of boxes from 1.5 storage units and up to the 3rd floor of our new walk up apartment. They were kind, professional, and very communicative. They were also very reasonable with pricing which was appreciated. They didnt try to stay as long as possible, they worked efficiently and without complaints. If we ever move in the Chicago area again, we will definitely use Fallen Movers again.

Mike and Karl were absolutely fantastic during an unexpectedly shitty move out process. I don't know how we would have done it without them. Despite pressure and verbal aggression from our landlord to rush so they could clean and paint, Mike and Karl were professional, efficient, friendly, and advocated for us throughout. They were careful and thoughtful as well, protecting our furniture and belongings even as it started raining. I cannot recommend them enough and know who to contact for my next move! This has been the single best moving experience I've had in the past 15 years or so! Hands down. And here is my glowing review of them!

I had a move from the city to the suburbs and a storage unit. Mike, Maurice, and Karl are honest hard working gentlemen and also very professional, patient, and friendly. They all were highly communicative, checking in on us whether an item was going to the house or storage. They knew about packaging items appropriately like proper usage of shrink wraps, padding, etc for heavy wooden furniture, stone table tops, leather upholstery, mirrors, TV's, office desks/chairs, etc. I even saw one of them lift a bar cabinet single-handedly over their head! These gentlemen are strong and capable with highly professional knowledge and service!

Additionally, they are highly cordial and respectful, even during unexpected delays from our moving truck not arriving in time due to unforeseen circumstances. Even though we were highly delayed to reasons that were entirely on us, they did not run the clock! They worked as efficiently as possible, always finding ways to create value, even in 10 degree Chicago winters!

After several negative experiences I've had with other companies in the industry, I come to expect moving workers who were not very honest or hardworking. In the past, other companies would run the clock, complain, break/chip items, improperly stack fragile items, or even stolen items where I would have to constantly monitor them. And sometimes I would have to deal with poor (or no) customer service to claim anything. But I've had none of these problems with Fallen Movers. It's very refreshing!

Mike Fallen runs a well oiled machine. He hires qualified individuals from Chicago who put their best effort forward in representing themselves and Mike's company. It honestly makes me proud to find a Chicago company that puts other franchises to shame! My family is even looking forward to hiring them for other labor driven work they could do in addition to future moving services.

As a forewarning to some people, the process to work with them may be different than a typical process with other larger franchises (contracts/receipts, insurance policy, etc.). However, this is why I highlight how honest and hardworking (and not to mention, honorable) these gentlemen are. I was already a Fallen Movers believer by the end of the service.

Lastly, to make it all better, they cost nearly half of what other "high end" moving franchises would charge for worse service! Other companies may price gauge during the move but lose all future moves from me. Mike even adjusted the rates when 1 of the 3 movers had to leave for the second half of the move. This sounds like "duh, of course" but you'd be surprised how many horror stories there are from dishonest or unethical employees in other moving firms. This is why my family and I will continue to work with these men of character.

TL;DR version. If you have any doubts on whether to hire them or not, give Fallen Movers a call! If you want your possessions to be taken care of while moving them, give Fallen Movers a call! If you want to support a Chicago-owned moving company with men of high caliber, give Fallen Movers a call! You will not regret it.

Absolutely loved my experience with Mike and his crew. Really appreciated the swiftness with which they moved everything! They were very careful with my stuff and god everything done in record time. Can't recommend more highly!

I called Mike and his team at LITERALLY the last minute... I was moving and 10 minutes before my previously booked mover was set to arrive, he cancelled on me.

I called Fallen Movers and he quickly answered and was so kind. He communicated thoroughly and was so easy to work with.

I needed a 10 ft uHaul truck loaded and unloaded. My new place was up 3 flights of stairs and between these two places, Mike and Neal had everything moved in just under 2 hours!!!! All of my things were well taken care of and I appreciate how hard they worked to get my things moved safely and efficiently.
These guys are a gem of a moving company and I plan to use them any time I need to move again in the Chicago area.

Michael Fallen and his team of Neal and Maurice were excellent during my big move to Chicago. They met me at my building in downtown Streeterville and were ready to work. I'm grateful for their reliability and strong work ethic as it made the move much less daunting. Great experience with Fallen Movers. I requested an unload of a 12 foot truck packed to the brim. Neil and Mike showed up and got right to work, unloading the whole truck in about an hour and a half less than it took me to pack it. They were super professional and extremely cautious when moving in my items. I would recommend Fallen movers to anyone looking for great and speedy service in the Chicagoland area.

Five stars is not high enough a constellation of stars for the Fallen Movers crew! We had a last minute move (large three-bedroom condo) and Mike Fallen was gracious enough to fit us into his schedule. Mike and his excellent crew carefully wrapped our furniture, and used their tetris-like skills to use our rented moving truck to full advantage.

Our condominium management is very particular about care and consideration for the building, and everyone was impressed with Fallen Movers our furniture and the building both emerged without a scratch!

Mike and his crew are the consummate moving professionals! Most importantly, besides being prompt and hard-working, Mike and his crew are exceptionally kind and easy-going they were a real joy to work with! Do not hesitate to use Fallen Movers we give them our highest recommendation!

Mike, Maurice, and Neal are truly amazing movers. Cant say enough great things about all 3 of them, they made our lives moving so much easier. Best real life Tetris I have ever seen loading a truck, these guys are absolute pros. Professional, kind, on time, and knocked it all out quickly. Would recommend them to anyone and have already passed their info to some friends. My brother is planning on using them for his love coming up as well.

Mike Fallen and Neal helped us to load our household items for the move to a 16 feet Pods container . They were on time and loaded all our items into the Pods efficiently, professionally and carefully. We are more than happy to give them a six stars if google has one. I spoke with Mike after a moving company didn't show for us. He called all of his people to come and help us move the day of within an hour of contacting him. It ended up being that we found some friends to help us move, Mike still swung by the apartment to make sure there wasn't anything heavy that we needed help with last minute as he had about an hours worth of time between his next move. He was very professional, very accommodating, and above all else, he was nice. This is definitely a reliable, accommodating, and flexible company. I'm happy to see the business is doing well. I have moved a great deal in the past 10 years (roughly 9 times--I'm blessed), and I mention that because this was by far the best moving service I've ever relied on. The men who showed up were incredibly efficient and professional. They had to unpack and move a storage pod (containing a studio apartment's worth of belongings), and they managed that in about 70 minutes. I've never moved that quickly, nor that easily before, and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

On short notice, a friend gave us Michael’s name and phone number. They fit us in on a tight schedule and worked extremely hard to fit a tremendous amount of our belongings in a truck we are taking 7 hours to our destination. This is one of two large trucks we are taking and they are helping with an even bigger truck next week to finish our move. They are careful but definitely experts at packing as evidenced by the amount they were able to get in the truck. Highly recommend Fallen Movers to anyone moving themselves!

I called Mike with only about a week before I was ready to move, and he was able to accommodate my request. I value customer service as much as cost and and quality of work; Mike and his crew were the trifecta! He, Maurice, and Chris went above and beyond on a hot day to protect all of my furniture and ensure they got everything I needed loaded up at a more than reasonable cost. They were extremely customer focused, and without a doubt some of the most polite and just genuine dudes I have met. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about Fallen Movers! We were so worried we wouldn't be able to fit everything on the 26 foot truck we reserved but these guys were able to fit everything! They arrived on time, worked hard the whole time (even though I offered several breaks), took extra care when wrapping and moving… fragile items and they made a point to make us feel at ease during a stressful time! These guys were absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about the experience.
Very efficient. Quick. Got right to work. Very careful not to damage anything during the move. They perfectly loaded and unloaded my U-Haul and were careful with the fragile things. Even the manager at my new building said to me, "The movers you hired were great. We just painted the doorway and there wasn't a single scratch or scuff on it."

We have worked with Fallen Movers three times in the last three years, and every time has been a wonderful experience! Just today we were lucky enough to work with Mike, Neal and Maurice who arrived early to the place we were moving out of, and upon arrival jumped right in to action. We recommend EVERYTHING about Fallen Movers! We originally had Fallen Movers scheduled yesterday (1/19) to help us move our daughter into her new apartment. We had to cancel due to the snowstorm. Within minutes of us canceling (online), we received a call asking how they could help us. They came out today (Sunday...and their normal day off) to… help us out. The two gentlemen who came were beyond professional! It took the two of them only 45 minutes to unload a 20 ft truck. Nothing was dinged, scratched, or scuffed! We’ve already been telling others about what a positive experience
