I was born in Peru, South America. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Clifton High School. After high school I joined the US Navy where I spent four years as an Aircraft Firefighter. Following the Navy, I joined the service work force and became a painter.
After several years as a lead painter and supervisor for different companies, I started my first painting company in 2007 called The Final Coat and we did mostly government contracting under DJ Evans Contracting.That company was a partnership and I wanted to have total responsibility for my destiny.AKK Painting became a reality in 2014 named after my 3 kids' first initials of their first names. We work well with realtors, homeowners and owner's representatives on commercial projects.
