Services
Design and Installation
We create custom outdoor spaces tailored to your lifestyle. Our process begins with a personalized consultation to understand your vision, followed by comprehensive planning that considers sun exposure, soil quality, and drainage. From hardscaping like patios and retaining walls to water features and irrigation systems, we integrate softscapes and hardscapes for cohesive, functional landscapes that enhance property value and aesthetics.
Property Maintenance
Our maintenance services ensure year-round landscape health. We offer seasonal programs including spring aeration, summer irrigation management, autumn leaf removal, and winterization. Services cover lawn mowing, tree pruning, fertilization, pest control, and hardscape cleaning. Our team adapts care routines to North Idaho's climate, preserving plant vitality and hardscape integrity through changing weather conditions while minimizing client effort.
Snow Removal
We provide reliable snow and ice management for residential and commercial properties. Services include snow plowing for driveways and parking lots, de-icing applications to prevent slips, and snow hauling for excess accumulation. Our equipment and response protocols ensure properties remain accessible and safe during North Idaho's harsh winters, with options for both one-time and seasonal service agreements.
Hardscaping
Our hardscaping transforms outdoor areas with durable, aesthetic elements. We install retaining walls for erosion control, natural stone pathways, flagstone patios, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens. Using premium materials and precise craftsmanship, we create functional spaces that withstand Idaho's climate while complementing architectural styles. Projects integrate seamlessly with landscaping for cohesive outdoor living environments.
Water Features
We design and construct custom water features to enhance outdoor ambiance. Options include elegant fountains, koi ponds, and complex waterfalls. Each installation considers site conditions and client preferences for sound, visual appeal, and maintenance requirements. Our systems ensure proper water circulation and winterization, creating tranquil focal points that add value and serenity to residential and commercial properties.

I had these guys come out for a bid on my yard back in early May. I needed extensive cleanup/ landscaping and weekly maintenance. They no showed their start date, then they no showed their 2nd appointment as well. They apologized saying somehow I was taken off their work schedule. They finally showed up on the third scheduled set time, 4 weeks after me hiring them. They had two guys working at my property all day however they did not complete the job. Again, I kept getting various stories on when the work would be completed and again they didnt come when they were supposed to be scheduled. On

Chad does a great job on landscape design and its execution. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He does have time management issues but what contractor in the area does not?! Our landscape presented a number of challenges and Chad was able to overcome them with aplomb. The waterfall he designed and built is spectacular. As his reputation is growing, the wait list grows longer. Yochum Landscaping is worth the wait.

I think Chad Yochum is the best landscaper in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls ID area. Not only is he a great, hard working, honest person but he is so easy and accommodating to work with. He has an amazing team working with him and even they will tell you how much they like him and enjoy working with him though he does expect their best. The entire team is so friendly and willing to make you happy rather you want to add, move or change something along the way. Always courteous, always willing to do what it takes. Chad and his team did my front yard and I love it so he was an obvious choice when doing

Yochum Landscape provides above and beyond genuine work. Their employees are very professional and seem passionate and skilled in both knowledge and creativity they do what needs to be done to go above the bare minimum and make everything look amazing. They seem to treat their work as if it was for their own home and I respect that. Anyone who is looking for any landscape work done or to spice up the appearance of their all around home make sure to go to Yochum landscaping. Water features, solar lights, replanting trees, etc. You name it these guys make it better than you had imagined. Hands down
