Chartered in 1973, the Home Builders Association represents the interests of the building and remodeling industry in Bay County and the surrounding areas. We are known today as the Bay Building Industries Association, or BBIA for short. The BBIA is comprised of many hardworking, local corporate members representing the construction industry.

The BBIA snapped into action after Hurricane Michael hit the Bay County area destroying Mexico Beach. They helped coordinate rescue and rebuilding efforts from day one. Executive Director Gloria Fennie has earned quite a reputation for organizing, pulling builders, repair services and even helping to find food service people to feed the workers coming into the area to restore Bay County.
