BB Architects

BB Architects is a distinguished architectural firm founded in 1977 by Blair Ballard under the name Blair Ballard Architects. Based in Laguna Beach, California, we have spent over four decades cultivating a reputation for design excellence and innovative architectural solutions. Our portfolio spans entertainment venues, commercial centers, residential projects, and civic spaces, serving clients across the United States and internationally in England, Japan, and Angola. We specialize in cinema theatre design, including luxury conversions and IMAX auditoriums, and have pioneered groundbreaking projects such as the first city-owned parking structure in Laguna Beach. Our commitment to client collaboration ensures that every project reflects the unique vision of our clients while meeting the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics.

With expertise in post-disaster rebuilding, we help communities recover through resilient and thoughtful design. Our in-house 3D rendering capabilities allow clients to visualize projects early in the design process, fostering informed decision-making. Recognized for award-winning oceanfront estates and large-scale commercial developments, we blend creativity with technical precision to deliver results that inspire pride among clients, communities, and our team. Our success stems from maintaining strong professional relationships and a dedication to transforming challenges into opportunities for renewal.
