Besides my dad, there was a professor of construction management in Austin, Texas who inspired me to go from carpentry to project management. An old craftsman in Boston who I worked for was also a big influence - he really taught me a lot about the fine points of custom home work. I come from an artistic family and find the process of building is very creative.
