Founded by Shaun Egan and his later mother Phyllis, the company was built with sustainable development as its cornerstone; a central theme that has persisted over time.

The Iron Woman Mining Services team provides full mining support, including drilling, blasting, mucking, excavation, batch plant operations, tunneling, final grading, demolition, underground site construction set-up, dewatering, bulkhead construction, remediation and reclamation, and water and wastewater treatment, as well as miscellaneous mine support services.
