The New Car Dealers Association San Diego County (NCDA) represents nearly every new car and truck dealers in San Diego County. NCDA members include persons, firms, or corporations holding a direct factory franchise and are actively engaged in the business of buying and selling new automobiles and trucks at a regular place of business in San Diego County.

Founded more than 100 years ago, the New Car Dealers Association San Diego County (NCDA) represents the franchised new car and truck dealers in the San Diego region. The NCDA's role is to address and provide programs and services responsive to the needs of its Dealer Members. It seeks to speak and act on the behalf of those members in communicating with organizations and individuals who share its interests.

The New Car Dealers Association is one of only a few organizations in the country that pays for both state and national automotive association dues for its Dealer Members. This benefit alone exceeds the amount some dealerships pay in annual dues to the NCDA.

Established in 1991 by the NCDA, the California Sales Training Academy offers a Free Automotive Sales Training Course to promote professionalism in the retail automotive business through education. Emphasis is placed on product knowledge, ethical behavior and customer service. During the four-day course of instruction (now online!), adult students prepare themselves for an exciting and financially rewarding career in the automobile industry.
