I am giving Cali Bath and Kitchen a 5 star because he worked with us and because he stuck with the job until it was 100% complete and we were satisficed with the product. This company has it's problems and had to redo a number of items to make them right, but there was no argument and the work was fixed and completed as promised. Be aware that the contract cost you are agreeing to does not include finish materials (all the way down to the electrical outlets). For us, this was fine since I preferred to select all my own finishes and was able to save money by not paying the contractor mark-up

The reason I gave this company 5 stars was because Joseph, who owns the company, stuck with the job until completion and was interested in making sure it was what we wanted. His staff made a number of mistakes along the way which needed correction, but he always came back and made the corrections without argument. He provided us a very fair price for the work but it is important to note that he does not supply any finishes (including the electrical outlets) in his price which is not common among contractors I have worked with in the past. With that said, it worked out to our advantage to purchase

One star is too many for this company. The initial estimate was 3-5 weeks to complete our project. It has turned into a homeowner's worst nightmare. Our initial deposit was collected in October 2020. Work started On November 3rd 2020, and work stopped on June 1st 2021. In a few days it will be December of 2021. The project was to remodel a 5x4 foot bathroom, and a small shower approximately 2.5x2.5' . Bathroom had a broken drain pipe (tree roots) and a hot water slab leak. Everything started going down hill after the demo work. Nearly everything had to be done twice or 3 times. The

We wanted to update the kitchenette in the Studio apartment which is located on the second floor of our home, and also expand it in order to incorporate a full sized fridge and add a washer/dryer. We interviewed three different companies and chose Cali Bath and Kitchen because Alex understood our vision (we wanted to keep costs down as much as possible, while significantly enhancing the kitchen and adding new washer/dryer capabilities), while also offering suggestions on how to enhance it. Wasted our time, that's why they get 3 stars. Called explaining what we needed for our small kitchen condo to sell it, told them the quotes we were given from other companies, told them ideally what we'd like to stay under. Arranged for someone to be at the condo a few days later at 10am only to be told that the minimum for kitchen remodel is a $15k job, which might be understandable on a house, but not a tiny condo kitchen. Could have easily said that over the phone a few days ago, then we would have just said no and moved onto the next company. They were nice, but $15k would make them
