John Anderson is a lifelong resident of Warren, PA. He graduated from Warren Area High School in 1980 and Grove City College in 1984. He spent a brief time as a Securities Advisor after college. In 1985, he went to work for a small concrete contractor as a laborer, finisher, and equipment operator.
John Anderson Construction was started in 1989. JAC was a small company that primarily worked for residential customers doing various concrete jobs. The business expanded yearly and soon became a concrete and excavation company with a residential and commercial customer base. JAC evolved into a site/concrete contractor that was doing waterline/sewerline/stormwater work along with concrete and earth moving/excavation jobs.
The year 2010 offered another opportunity for expansion with all of the Marcellus Shale activity. JAC took full advantage of the opportunity to grow by expanding into the steel pipeline and compressor station work. More skilled employees and equipment were added and the company continued to grow.
