How it works

You will first need existing set of plans for the house/building. If you do not have them, these can sometime be obtained from your local city Building Department or from the construction company that built the house. If no floor plans exist, we can make them for you. Once we have existing floor plans we can proceed to design.

There is a lot of room for variation in design and layout, but there are also a lot of rules. Basically, there are two types: building codes that control the details of construction, and zoning ordinance that control not only what you can build but where you can build. It's always wise to contact the planning department of your city to check the options.
