Fred and his group are absolutely amazing. He has been taking care of our property for years, from lawn service, tree care, a drainage system, to more recently, a large patio and paving project around our new pool with beautiful landscaping. His team is always prompt, courteous and professional. His prices are fair and his quality is superior. His team always cleans up after themselves and the work is done promptly and efficiently. His design vision and knowledge of plants is incredible. To say our yard is now perfect is an understatement. It feels like a vacation away from home.

We called Fred to assess a severe drainage problem we were having with our driveway. Fred inspected the property and suggested a solution which did not involve him performing any work and which would cost less than some of the solutions suggested by other contractors. His knowledge and mastery of his craft are obvious. By the time he left, I was struggling to come up with work for him to do because he is the kind of guy you just want to do business with. Maybe next time!

We worked with Fred on some landscaping in our yard - regrading, the addition of some swales, and installation of a gutter drain pipe extension.
Fred was on time for every appointment, provided estimates promptly, and all communication was quick and friendly. The work itself was done quickly and professionally - I was very impressed by what Fred and his team accomplished!

We have an ongoing drainage problem in our back yard. Fred came out to take a look and proceeded to show us how we could solve the problem on our own. Another contractor had already tried to sell us on a two day project that would have really disrupted the property (and our lives). If only Fred's honesty was the standard and not the exception! He'll have our future business for jobs we can't do on our own. Thanks!

We had Fred fix a bad drainage issue in our backyard. He did a great job. Him and his crew were extremely professional and thorough. The yard turned out much better than I anticipated, we now have a yard we can use. The entire process working with Fred was great. I will be using Fred for any future projects.

I couldn't be more happy with the job that Fred and his crew did. Fred was quick to respond with a quote and after I decided to move forward with the project he started on time. He removed all of the old material, regraded, put in a french drain and added plenty of crushed stone for drainage. He then installed a new EP Henry retaining wall and patio, plus outdoor lights under the cap. He also laid a foundation for the shed. These pictures are before he installed the sod to finish the project. I am having him back in the spring to revitalize the front of my property.

We knew when we bought our new house we would immediately need some trees removed for safety reasons and also to let some sunlight in. We called several people that were recommended to us and then my husband called Modern Landscaping on a whim since they were right down the street.
