WG Flatiron was the third project Rodriguez Studio completed for the same great client. The architectural challenge was to create a new apartment combination in a building that had not been built yet. Two 3 bedroom units were combined to create a 4 bedroom, 4 and half bathroom apartment that sprawls over 5,000 sf.
The existing layouts from the base building development were combined to also create a new office/den area, walk in closets, a media room, as well as a large pantry and a large living room dining room with built-in seating. Walnut, Bronze, glass, stucco, and stone are woven together throughout the project to create a strong aesthetic identity.
The project is a sleek, modern design with vibrant materials and elegant details with commanding views of Manhattan. House 153 is a residence in Brooklyn's Bay Ridge neighborhood. The project was a complete transformation of an existing house. The entire house was rebuilt save for foundations, roof structure, and bits and pieces of walls.
