A&B Floors is a family-owned and operated company. We specialize in the refinishing of Hardwood, and the installation of Prefinished and Engineered Wood, Laminate, Luxury Vinyl Plank and Carpet. We have been in business since 2001 and our family has been a part of the Hampton Roads community for over 40 years.

We have a team of professionals, many of which have each been with us for over 15 years who are dedicated to quality service and craftsmanship that you can't get anywhere else! If you're a traditionalist who loves the amber glow of floors finished with oil-based polyurethane, we are your flooring contractor.

We carry a variety of carpet brands and styles to suit your taste, from well-known manufacturers like Shaw and Mohawk, as well as Dixie Homes and Masland, both high-fashion carpet manufacturers. This was my first encounter with this contractor and I doubt I could have been more pleased. Beginning with meeting Ed Ambrose, I was impressed with his integrity. We thoroughly discussed the job and set a date to begin that fit my schedule. I believe most of us measure a contractor on not only the quality of their work but how well they follow through with their schedule and responsiveness.
