We recently went through the process of getting a bid for a full remodel of our home from Magnolia and were very impressed with their professionalism and kindness. The owner (Joey) treats you like family and really goes out of his way to ensure your project is given the attention it deserves. We had the chance to meet several of his team members who were also great at providing us options to try and make our project work within the budget we outlined. In the summer of 2021 we reached out to Magnolia to get a quote for a basement renovation for a new build home. We were promptly contacted with a call from the owner to start moving the process along. Not long after magnolia visited our house to get an idea of what we envisioned for our basement and provided guidance on ideas. We received a quote which held true throughout the completion of the project. We moved along with accepting the quote in the fall under the condition the basement would be done before christmas. We asked Magnolia construction to come by our house and provide us with options for a renovation of our 80-year-old home. Joey spent over an hour with us going over options and ballpark pricing. He is extremely well versed in this type of renovation and provided us with excellent and heartfelt guidance. It is rare that a renovation company would recommend against undertaking a major job, but in the end, that is exactly what happened, and we thank him for his honest opinions. In summer of 2020, during a pandemic lull, with a potty training 3 year-old and an 8 month-old, we realized that our lives would be made much easier if we had a powder room on the main level. Our 1920s home in Little Italy had a very small, closet type space at the top of our basement stairs where we tended to shove things, and we'd heard mention when we bought the house in 2016 that we could sneak a powder room" in there.
