Unfinished Hardwood Flooring

Wood is beautiful and warm, but if left unprotected, liquids and dirt will ruin the wood. That is why finishes are used. In the freshman years of wood flooring, oils and waxes were used to protect hardwood flooring. The problem with those finishes was that dirt would mix in with the wax/oil and wear down the wood's surface quickly, leaving the only option of stripping the existing finish and applying new coats of the oil/wax.

At Floor Factors, we offer primarily prefinished wood flooring, which eliminates the need for onsite finishing. Most of our hardwood and bamboo planks come in traditional nail/glue installation. We carry a large variety of Oak, Maple, Hickory, Birch Hardwoods as well as more exotic species such as Brazilian Cherry, Mahogany, Hevea and so much more!
