As horticultural graduates from NC State University, Mark & Trudy Pilcher began their careers as growers in large greenhouse operations. Later, they started their own greenhouse and commercial landscaping and maintenance company in Cleveland, NC. In 1984, Mark and Trudy moved to Atlantic Beach, FL (Mark's hometown) because they wanted to offer year-round landscape services.
