I was born and raised in the Gainesville, Alachua County area. Growing up in the rural parts, there weren't many homes that had central heating and air until the early '70s. Air conditioning was something we had to go to town to check out, because it was new to everyone. I had a desire to learn construction after high school, so I landed a job installing ductwork in homes that were being built at Haile Plantation in 1980.
Over time, my interest grew to learn how the equipment operated and how the a/c systems were designed and installed. Since then, Bertie Heating & Air Conditioning was formed and we have installed thousands of home comfort systems across North Central Florida. We now have thousands of happy, comfortable clients right here in Gator country.
From indoor air quality to ultraviolet lights, we are a home comfort solution company that has always believed in the highest standards and quality of HVAC equipment for installation, maintenance, and service repair. We also offer free in-home estimates for new air conditioning equipment.
