About Us
My name is Ricardo Batista and I am the owner of Batista Roofing, Inc. Batista Roofing is a full service roofing company. We can handle from the smallest roofing project to a more complicated metal roof where we would need to fabricate our own parts. We have been in business since 2004 providing quality roofing services to residential and commercial clients in the greater Boston area.
Residential Roofing
The roof is the single most important structural component of the house, protecting everything that is inside of the house from everything that is outside - wind, weather, animals, you name it. Often overlooked, we tend not to pay attention to our roofs unless there's an obvious problem like leaks or missing shingles.
Roofing Replacement
Because your roof is tasked with protecting both your home and family from the weather, we pay special attention to the many details that go into a residential roofing system. From the choice of materials, to the design of the roof, proper ventilation, secure flashing - even the size and shape of the gutters and downspouts - we are focused on quality materials and "done right" installation.
Shingle Roofing
By far, the number one covering over commercial and residential steep-sloped roofs of the United States is shingles. Developed over a century ago, the more common paper basedasphalt shingle has come far; giving way to a more durable and affordable fiberglass reinforced and recycled rubber shingles.
Gutter Roofing
Having the right gutters is essential for preserving the overall condition of your home. Gutters that don't drain correctly or are clogged can overflow, causing damage to the roof and create pools of water on the ground that can seep into the basement. Good water management. A well-designed, professionally installed gutter and downspout system provides protection against erosion, plant damage and basement flooding.
Roof Leak Repair
Many times fixing small roof problems can prevent bigger, more costly issues from occurring, like needing a new roof. If you notice any visible roof damage or are experiencing a leak, your roof may be in need of repair, or more extensive work may be required. Let the professionals at Batista Roofing Inc. perform a thorough roof analysis to determine the cause of the problem and provide an honest and reliable solution.
Commercial Roofing
Batista Roofing also installs and maintains Low Slope roofing also known as flat roofs. Whereas pitched roof are built with an incline, flat roofs are almost completely level, and are commonly used in commercial buildings or classic architecture. Whether you need a new roof coating, minor repairs, or a full roof replacement, our team is ready to provide you with a solution that fits your operating budget.
PVC Roofing
PVC membranes are made from polyvinyl chloride applied over a reinforcing scrim. Available in different colors, white is most commonly used as it offers excellent solar reflectivity. PVC laps are welded together using hot air to create a seemingly conterminous or seamless membrane. PVC Roofing Systems are among the easiest single-ply roofing membranes to install and heat-weld together.
TPO Roofing
Somewhat similar to PVC, TPO membranes are made from (ThermoPlastic Olefin) or polyolefin applied over a reinforcing scrim. White is again the color most commonly used as it offers excellent solar reflectivity. Both PVC and TPO are highly tear resistant and TPO laps are also welded together using hot air.
Specialty Roofing
We take great pride that we were taught our trade by the old school roofers. We have added to this foundation to improve our specialty. Not too many roofers have knowledge on historic roof repair to maintain the integrity of your roof. It is crucial to have an experienced craftsman perform the right repairs.
