It's a pleasure to write another glowing review for Brad Jessup and Certified Home Remodelers. Brad helped us make our home flexible and functional to meet our goal of aging in place. He helped us enlarge a half bath, transform unused space into beautiful, tranquil areas, and allow us to enjoy our home even more! I always appreciate Brad's professionalism, his way of explaining processes and his invaluable knowledge about how materials perform. If there's ever an issue (rare), Brad fixes it well. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Well, in addition to the review below, I just had new doors installed October 2025. My front door and a side and storm door in my basement. I am extremely pleased. It was a difficult job since nothing in my house is level! But the guys did a great job getting everything set up level and then did the trim to make it look good. They were here on time, cleaned up everything after themselves and even took off the old hardware for me. They had a can-do attitude -- helpful and respectful. Already I can tell a difference with the new front door -- it's so much quieter and no drafts! I imagine it will make a huge difference in my heating bill this winter. I highly recommend Certified Home Remodelers!

Here was my original review...I had an extensive amount of work done. I had new siding, roof, windows and garage door installed in 2021. As part of the project, I also had aluminum awnings that were removed and reinstalled after I cleaned and repainted them. One was an oversize wrap-around awning for the porch that could not be re-installed, but they rebuilt into a usable awning covering the one side of the porch. I like that even better! They worked around my schedule and coordinated all the various contractors doing each part of the work. The workers were outstanding. Friendly, helpful, dependable, considerate (cleaned up after themselves) and did a great job! I selected them to do the work on my home based on a recommendation from a friend who previously had work done on her house.

We had Brad and his team handle a major project for us roofing, siding, new porch, and insulation and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Their craftsmanship was top-notch, and the attention to detail truly stood out in every phase of the job.

Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They kept us informed, answered every question, and made sure we always knew what to expect. It made the whole project smooth and stress-free.

Were extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend Brad and his team to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. We had zero issues just great work and a great experience.

Brad and his team did an amazing job with our home installing new siding. The process of getting new siding started in the spring were Brad came out and gave us an estimate on our home. Brad was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions and concerns with starting a project this large. Brad was very patient until we got all our financing and started the project this fall. Crews came, took off all the old, installed fresh paper on the home, flashed all pipes exiting the home and replaced a couple sheets of OSB the was damaged all in a week! The crew did amazing job with the install, caulking, clean up, I mean truly impressed me and I wish I could use these guys for my jobsite!! I highly recommend Brad and his team for any home project! If you want a local business that takes time to answer all your questions and make sure your home project is done right with care and attention to detail, then Certified Home Remodelers is who you want!

The search stops here!! Thank you so much for our home addition. You guys made the process so stress free. My wife and I can't thank you enough, and our family loves spending time in our new addition. We spent months looking for the right contractor to not get calls back or we would run into companies with bad communication skills. Brad and his team were very responsive from the start, clearly guiding us through the process and stayed within their given timeframes. We look forward to getting our new kitchen done in the Fall.

This is a belated review 7 years late for a new front porch that still pleases me every day.
As far as I am concerned, Brad Jessup is the GOAT of home improvement.
My project was the addition of a covered porch on the front of my home, which truly made it look like a new and different home.
Brad is extremely meticulous and pays incredible attention to even the smallest details. He labors over construction decisions for nuances that I would not have imagined, but for his own obsession with quality as much as mine. He is very easy to work with and treated my home improvement project as if it was his own. His crew and his subcontractors are absolutely top shelf and have their own pride of craftmanship, which is very refreshing.
After 7 years signs of wear and tear are normal. But not for Certified Home Remodelers! Everything still looks new (recent snow photo included).
I'll just add a few words about the subcontractors used by Brad. Everything I said about Brad was true for them too. The concrete contractor did a fantastic job on my stamped concrete porch and walkway. I received many, many compliments on the stamped concrete, which really looks like wood. The masonry contractor did a fantastic job matching stone pieces to fit together like they were custom made.
When it was finished, my wife and I were ecstatic! If you drive by on pleasant afternoons, you might still catch us enjoying a glass of wine with cheese on the porch.
I'm glad I chose the best for my project; I hope you do too.

Truly professionals. Detailed in the important aspects of installation the installation went flawless noting that the previous wind drafts were now absent when the entry door was open & the screen door closed. The sturdiness of the doors "Entry" and "Storm" indicates their ability to handle the elements as well as longevity. The 2-man crew were very respectable, knowledgeable and easy to converse with when asking anything about the manufacture, materials and maintenance of the installed doors. Certified Home Remodelers has completed multiple projects for us: kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, insulated our attic and corrected a mistake made by another contractor that prevented proper ventilation in the attic, replaced a sliding glass door, installed windows, replaced the front door and front storm door, and made improvements to drainage at the bottom of the basement stairs. Brad Jessup took the time to explain each project thoroughly, he provided a timeline for each project that he and his staff followed precisely, and each job was completed to our satisfactionquality was top notch. We had hail damage to our roof and siding. Brad worked directly with our insurance company and made sure everything was covered. His crews were fantastic, very courteous. When they left all we had was a perfect new roof and beautiful siding with no mess.

I recently contracted with Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. for a multi-day 12 window replacement project. The installation team were courteous, tidy, and professional. Each of the two-person installation team has decades of experience in the Baltimore/Washington area and were a pleasure to speak with. There were some installation challenges which were clearly communicated to me and tackled with the expertise that skilled experience brings. I'm pleased with the installation and the attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend that Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. be considered for home renovation projects. I had the bathroom in my 70 year old house remodeled. Im very pleased with the result. Brad and his team are knowledgeable and experienced, explained everything in a way I could understand, and answered all of my questions. Good, open communication from beginning to end. Managed the unexpected items that arise when working with an older home in a forthright manner. I would use them again.

Certified Home Remodelers replaced all of the led base painted windows in our home when we moved in. We were extremely pleased with the finished product. The windows look beautiful and are extremely efficient. The company was easy to work with, very professional and the pricing was reasonable. Brad worked with us when we had a major house fire in 2020, right before covid. He represented us when dealing with the insurance company and did a great job navigating all of the complicated issues that come up with insurance coverage. We decided to tear the house down and rebuild due to the extent of the damage. Brad was very attentive and detailed oriented the entire build. I would say he was more attentive to the details than we were. House turned out great and has been perfect since move it day in 2022. His attention to detail really showed when a few months after move in day, I noticed he used glossy paint in the bathroom and kitchen. Most builders spray the whole house and don't worry about these little details. I would highly recommend his company!

Certified Home Remodelers did an excellent replacement of 11 windows for me. Brad, the owner, was very professional and knowledgeable. Much more so then Window Nation who sent a young sales person that was not as knowledgeable of their product. Brad used the Alside Mezzo window which is an excellent middle of the road product. Neil, the installer, nailed the measurement process and installed them without a hitch. Neil's placement, aluminum wrap, and calking was perfect! I highly recommend Brad and his team for window replacement.

As repeat and extremely satisfied customers, we highly recommend Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. We secured numerous bids to convert our carport into a garage. Thankfully, we went with Brad's company. The brickwork, electrical, plumbing, concrete work, carpentry, etc. were extraordinary and the quality was exquisite. Brad and his crew worked with us throughout the entire process to ensure that the garage met all our needs. We were so pleased with the workmanship that we went directly to Brad when we decided to remodel our kitchen. Once again, it was a pleasant experience - and our kitchen is beautiful! One thing we especially like about Brad and his crew is that they take pride in their work. There is no area of our experience that would receive less than 5 stars. We had a fairly small job- several windows and 2 sliders replaced plus a custom doggie door install. The price was fair and getting financing was easy. The workmen were extremely competent, careful, cheerful, clean and they did everything possible to not interfere with our lives. Couldnt ask for more and we will definitely rehire for future work.

Brad Jessup and his company were fantastic! We finally decided to replace the cedar-siding on our house with a more durable, synthetic siding. Brad was very helpful in advising us on various products, etc. , and his crew was excellent; thorough, diligent, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. His company also replaced our deck with new decking (the floor boards) and they were also really great. We worked with Brad from Certified Home Remodelers at the end of last year and were completed satisfied with the work. They replaced our roof, siding, several windows and a porch railing. The work for each part of the project was started on the date promised, even though we had rain during the period the work was done. Brad was communicated clearly with us and made several recommendations, explaining why he made the recommendations, for what should be done.
