We needed a massive amount of electrical work done to our new home, basically an upgrade to a new system and we called several places for estimates on the job. John came out and gave us an honest assessment and encouraged us to call other places, which we did. Rewired was by far the most reasonably priced company and more importantly they were obviously knowledgable and experienced and didn't spend hours trying to upsell us on things that weren't necessary like almost every other company did. They were prompt, polite, and professional and worked diligently to get the work done and kept us abreast of what was happening throughout the process. And when we had questions the company provided a real person (no automated systems!) on the phone right away who was very helpful and immediately responsive and took care of us at all times. The quality of work and service was exceptional, John and Nate (and everyone who came out and whose name I don't recall) worked hard to troubleshoot and repair anything that came up. I can't speak highly enough about this company and their work. Would highly recommend them any time.

Jon reached out when he was on his way and advised an ETA. He arrived 5 minutes early. Ideal.

I welcome him into my home and he shows nothing but consideration and respect for everything in there.

Beyond that, the guy educated me about absolutely everything at every step of the process. Explained it to me in words and ways I could understand.

As a first time homeowner, I valued his willingness to teach me things while on the job.

Throughout the entire visit, it was evident that Jon is a "people-person" and he legitimately gave a rip about his job and how it helped customers and their families *stay safe*

At the conclusion, Jon reiterated what we had done today and thanked me for my business.

Listen, I have high expectations. I'm anxious and I could easily fit the profile of a tough customer. I'm not blowing smoke anywhere; these guys are the real deal.

Dominic and Tony did a great job. Very professional and tidy. They stayed late and got what could have been a multiple day project done within one very long day. Needed an outlet replacement. Logan helped me get an appointment booked online which was convenient. My tech, Jon was on time, was informative and offered a great deal! 5 ⭐️

Todd explained everything in detail and made sure I was happy with where the new outlet would be prior to installation. He made sure there was minimal disruption to my day during the panel restoration. Will definitely call them again for any electrical projects in the future!

We needed to run an outlet for an electric fireplace in our already finished basement and Todd and Nate from Rewired did an outstanding job of making that happen with minimal holes required. We added 3 other outlets through our home and it was handled professionally. This is not our 1st using Rewired and we will call them again for any future needs. Today I had Dominic and Logan here to do some electrical panel replacement and some other electrical issues. These gentlemen are five star in my opinion. They were very professional , Knowledgeable and hard-working. I would highly recommend these two men for any job that you have. Thank you for a job well done.

Rewire is an amazing company that is very professional and considerate of us and our home. They were prompt and communicated every step of the way. Jon came the first day to assess the problem. He gave us and estimate and scheduled a team to come the next day. Todd and Logan came very timely the next day. They worked very hard, up in the attic on a very hot day, and continued to communicate what they were doing. Never wore their shoes in the house and were considerate of us. Todd and Logan were task oriented and very efficient. The next day Frank was also here. They were all excellent and the job was done right and in a timely manner.
I would recommend Rewire to anyone with electrical problems. They will be the only electrical company I will ever use in the future. Give them a 5+ stars 🌟

I needed to get an estimate of work to be done on the house I am selling. I called on a Friday and they sent Jon out on Monday morning - very quick service. Jon explained everything and showed me what needed to be done. He was quite thorough and didn’t rush. They had very fair pricing and the estimate was FREE. This is definitely a company to do business with. I will be using them in the future.

Rewired installed a Generac generator for our home. From beginning of process to the end of installation the customer service was SUPERIOR! John did an amazing job with a thorough estimate and explanation of the process! Jeremy and Frank (technicians/installers)were so polite, courteous, knowledgeable and amazing to work with!! These 3 men are true assets to this company!!! Rewired definitely works to the highest degree for their customers. We will refer family and friends to Rewired. We will always use Rewired for our electrical needs.

I am really impressed with Rewired and their staff. We had an unexpected situation with water coming into our panel. Rewire was quick to come out (to Ames even) and evaluate. The original assessment was transparent about price (even if I was hoping for a less expensive solution 😉).

Everyone involved (from initial assessment to final touches) was extremely skilled with experience and knew what they were doing. They went above and beyond anything I would've expected - as they got everything up to code and were diligent making sure everything worked. James and Frank were also extremely friendly to us and our kids - That's even after about 12 hours of work during the day.

No regrets going with Rewired, and they will remain my go-to in the future.

Our house was hit by lightning early in the morning. After the fire department left, I reached out to several electricians. Only Rewired answered. They sent Dominic out to check our home for us. He was awesome. He was thorough, straightforward, and willing to install a new fan/light combo in our swelteringly hot attic. He was here for most of the day and worked hard to help us feel secure. What a day. Thank you, Dominic!

Would 100% recommend Rewired. We had John come out to see about hooking up a new electrical panel so we could hook our fryer up. He explained the difference of what we had and what we could do, went over all of our options and prices. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. He set the appointment up for us before leaving and we had it all done the next week. The service was great, very professional and knowledgeable. Prices are good. Will definitely recommend and use them in the future!

I can't say enough good things about the two electricians Dominic and Logan who spent over 12 hours at my home. From the moment they arrived, they were professional and courteous..
They tackled a huge job without cutting corners, and their attention to detail was truly impressive.
They kept me informed on the work they were doing throughout the day and despite the long hours, their attitude never wavered-they stayed focused and positive!
Not only did they solve every issue, but they also went above and beyond to ensure everything was clean and orderly when they finished. IMO, It's rare to find tradespeople who combine skill, professionalism, and genuine care for the homeowner like these two did.

Jeremy did our initial quote and safety inspection for our new home. He was professional, clear on costs and gave a subject matter expert assessment. The following day Jeremy and Frank returned to complete the agreed work. They were both so kind and patient with our multiple small children asking all the questions. I had a small space heater in an outlet (where it functioned normally for months!) hit with a surge from lightning during this morning's thunderstorm. It put on quite a scary firecracker show!

Since REWIRED Iowa had upgraded my whole home with a well-grounded system last spring, disaster was averted. Now he will install dedicated power to the necessary heavy-use outlets, preventing such an overload from recurring.

PSA: Make sure your electrical system is grounded, and the outlet for a space heater or high wattage appliances are dedicated, with higher amperage...!

We had Eddy from Rewired Iowa out today to put in an outlet for a new awning. His work was very professional and he was very courteous and friendly. This is our second project that Eddy worked on for us and he did a great job!
