Vinny just stands head and shoulder above all the other roofers, and we had used other very good ones before we switched to First Choice Roofing. His knowledge of roofs, and how they need to function, surpasses all the others but it is his professionalism, honesty, fair pricing and superlative crew that keeps us calling him whenever we need a roof on this old house. He arrives when he says he will, his crew is top notch and they always leave the property immaculate. We feel very lucky to have discovered him!

We were very lucky to find these guys! A tree had come down during a storm recently and hit the top of our house leaving a hole 2‘ x 1‘ wide. It was a very hard spot to get to. We were concerned about rain forecasted over the coming days so we wanted to get this repaired quickly. We had just had the roof redone last year so we called that company. They came out and gave us a ridiculous quote for the small amount of work saying that’s just the minimum they charge for a job. I found First Choice Roofing from a search for local roofing repair. Vinny asked if I could send him a picture of the damage and he gave me a very reasonable price quote over the phone and told me they could be out the next morning to fix it. We agreed to work with them and sure enough the next morning they were there by 8:00 and finish by 9:30. They did an excellent job. You couldn’t tell there was ever a hole. We had roofing shingles left over from the new roofing job last year so they were able to use those and make a perfect match. They even cleaned off some branches that had landed on one of the lower roofs.
We would encourage anyone in our area of Connecticut to call First Choice for any roofing repair needs.

I feel very lucky to have found Vinny and his amazing crew through a referral. From start to finish, the process was easy. Vinny promised it would be done in three days and it was. Vinny promised they would clean up after each day and they did. They worked so hard and were very responsive to any concerns I may have had. They did a few additional bits of work for us charging very little. Vinny was responsive, responsible and generally amazing! Thank you for making this a painless experience Vinny.

I own a commercial building with a flat rubber roof and a pitched metal roof. 8 contractors submitted quotes but Vinny and 1 other were the only ones that addressed solutions for both types of roof. Vinny originally quoted me in January 2024 but due to complications I could not proceed until November. Vinny answered all my questions that were generated from reviewing other quotes and he kept the original pricing. He is very quick to return calls, very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I told Vinny I would write a review after it rained. It has rained at least 3 times since the new rubber roof was installed and the leaks in the metal roof were repaired- NO LEAKS! I whole heartedly recommend First Choice Roofing to everyone.

I highly recommend First Choice Roofing!! Recently had a tree fall on my house, got multiple quotes and Vinny and his team were amazing. Very easy to work with, excellent communication and Very competitive pricing. He gave me options for a few different manufacturers and colors. Most importantly, he was not some random guy in a pick up truck by a license insured bonded company that is based out of Hartford county. His crew was extremely knowledgeable, professional and organized. We also had skylights done. If I ever have any roofing needs in the future I’m not calling anybody else except for First Choice Roofing. I was that happy.

With all the rain lately, I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling, (never a good thing). I called First Choice Roofing and Vinny came out that same day to inspect the roof, instead of replacing it he thought a roof repair would work and be much cheaper. They came the first dry day and repaired the roof in a day. We have had heavy rainfall since and no leaks. Vinny is an honest guy who will tell you what you need. He is also a local guy.

Vinny and the crew were great to work with!From the start he gave us a great estimate and stayed true to his word. They repaired multiple holes in our garage roof, stripped the old roof off, and installed the new shingles in 3 hours. He was easy to reach and scheduled us fast. They also had a good amount of shingle color options. All in all, we are 100% using him again on our main roof.
