I had an outstanding experience working with Motha Electric. Ron and son Jeff are a father-son business, with an excellent team behind them. They dedicated 2 days to updating the electric in a home we purchased. They were on time, worked efficiently, and were extremely detail oriented. They gave excellent advice on certain products to buy in order to save us money in the long run. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done safely, correctly, and with care.

Had them install an EV charger- Jeff came to me with 4 options based on his site visit- we had other estimates and his was very competitive for each option.
Every step of the way. I got timely, clear communication and they did the installation on time and quickly. There were some minor issues with my panel that they corrected for free as well.
I will continue to use them in the future after a very positive experience!

After navigating through the MassSave Heat Pump rebate program process (a bit of work, but worth doing), we selected Motha Electric, a long time, local, family-owned Framingham contractor for installation. The installation was completed this week and we are enjoying the wonders of a great AC system! Jeff Motha was a wonderful resource from helping us understand and work with MassSave, to advising us as to the different installation options and equipment makes and models. Jeff, along with Ron (his dad and company founder) along with their well-trained crew managed the installation very efficiently. Jeff was very reliable, answering/returning our calls, showing up when promised and didn’t leave until everything was running perfectly! The crew were respectful of our home, answered our questions and concerns. We have no question that our need for maintenance and service in the future will be handled quickly and fairly. We don’t hesitate to recommend Motha Electric for your electric needs!

Make no mistake about it- Motha Electric can handle any scenario you face. Jeff Motha is running a family business with a great deal of expertise and pride. We had a punch list ranging from exterior post lamp replacement to power box updating and many other tasks. They encountered some problems because of the way our house was built and worked through every one of them with good cheer, although the prices were set in advance. No detail was left unturned, including meticulous cleanup. Jeff and team are thoroughly professional and accommodating at every turn, and very nice to boot. Very glad to have found them!

Jeff was exceptional with the work he completed at my home. I needed my old meter replaced to go solar on my house. Jeff was punctual and very responsive in the quoting process and the installation came out beautiful. I can confidently say that he will be my go to electrician for any sort of work that I need done at my house. We bought a 3 floor 6 Bedroom older home which was built in 1910 and it still had knob and tube wiring. Motha Electric completely rewired the entire home. They added extra receptacles and light switches. This also including the cellar. Everything was done without removing any plaster/sheet rock walls or ceilings. They did have to make small holes in a few places which were patched and made undetectable. They kept the house very clean and cleaned up each day. We were extremely pleased with their work and professionalism.
