Everyone at 1-800 Water Damage of North Kansas City have been exceptional to work with. They're very professional, thorough and explain everything they're going to do. They ask if you have any questions. They clean up any debris and dispose of it. Very kind and respectful. I'd recommend them highly. Thank you for helping me out in an emergent situation.

UPDATE: I was unaware that they stand behind their work. I was really pleased when the owner of the company called me and offered to come back out free of charge and retreat the spots. Crossing my fingers that they look better this time.

They were very nice and professional, but I don't think they did a good job on my carpets. I paid extra for stain removal and non of the stains came out, or even look different. The carpet looks the same as it did before they came. I'm really disappointed I spent $200 for nothing.

1-800 did a great job repairing our basement from water damage. Will highly recommend their service.

Excellent company & outstanding, efficient work. David was on-site within 36 hours of us calling to report a mold issue we found in our basement. He provided a thorough and detailed estimate and explained our issues without fear-mongering us like the restoration company (Phoenix) we had initially contacted. Being able to talk through the steps of the remediation and cleaning process put us at ease and gave us confidence we were making the right decision. By providing a line-item estimate, we knew exactly where our money was going and weren't left wondering if the project may ultimately be go over budget. Once it came time for the service, Jason and Tarren (sp?) were great to work with. Very helpful and walked us through the steps one final time. Now that the work has been completed, we can focus on re-building our basement. We would 10/10 recommend David and this company for any/all future needs. Thanks again!

These guys got me out of a couple different messes recently and I highly recommend 1-800 water damage. They are absolutely my number one go-to for water restoration. They were the only people in town I could find to clean up a sewage leak in a crawl space as well. Very thankful that I found these guys and I highly recommend.

Called 1-800 Water Damage of Kansas City North on a Saturday morning after discovering more than an inch and half of water in my basement from a broken toilet supply line. They answered right away and arrived on time after completing another job. They were able to remove all the water and set up their equipment to get things drying in less than 2 hours. The guys were professional, nice, and explained things in a way that made sense and what would happen next. Theyve been back a couple times to take out flooring and materials that werent savable and check moisture levels. Overall, Im extremely happy with this company and would definitely recommend to anyone needing their help, whether emergency or not.

Can't even begin to tell you how exceptional this company was to work with. They really showed up in big way for my family on one of our worst days. I use this company because my apartment complex uses them. They always do my carpets right. I recently had to put new padding down because of dog pee stains.. it was the best decision I ever made.. You will be spending a little bit more money then some other companies but it is worth every penny..

Responded quickly and coordinated multiple tasks simultaneously to accommodate our tight schedule. Crews worked on weekends. Worked as a partnership with insurance. Communicated frequently and directly with plans and progress. Took on the entire restoration project; I didn't need to hire multiple contractors. Thank you!

Ransom and his crew showed up between the time frames I was given. I completely forgot they were coming over and my house resembled that. Not to worry. They knocked it out nonetheless. They worked around my two kids being in there way (I tried, okay). Very professional and open about the whole vent cleaning process. Looking forward to working with them in the future.

After suffering a plumbing problem, I contacted our Insurance Agent, who recommended D&S Restoration Specialists. The owner, David Johnson came out within two hours to assess the water damage. He worked with our Claims Adjuster that same day and had a crew out within hours to remove items that were effected by the water damage and items that could be salvaged. His crew was polite, professional and proficient. David stayed on top of the "tear out" and the reconstruction, addressing my every concern with speed and efficiency. The level of customer service that David provided deserves more than 5 stars. I would highly recommend his services .

We have used other companies in the past and just were not pleased. We needed our carpets cleaned and stretched. Bill did a terrific job of cleaning our carpet and then came back later to stretch. If we could give him 6 stars, we would!! The company was very nice to work with and we will definitely use them again.
