Elastomeric roof coatings are the surfacing component of the two-part spray polyurethane foam-based (SPF) roofs. For more information about the substrate for SPF roofing systems, visit our polyurea foam page. Elastomeric roof coatings are also commonly used on metal roofs.
Commercial Flat Roof Systems
Flat roofing systems are attractive for commercial buildings because they maximize the usable space in a building. They can, however, pose concerns for water drainage, UV resistance, and durability. Fortunately, there are many roofing systems and roofing materials available that overcome these concerns and provide commercial facilities with the necessary protection from the elements.
Polyurea Foam Roof Coating
Polyurea foam roof coatings are the first component of spray polyurethane foam-based (SPF) roofs, a popular commercial roofing system for flat and low slope facilities. The top coat is an elastomeric coating. To learn more about elastomeric coatings, click here. Together, the two-part roofing system insulates, seals, and protects your building.
