Our family lives in a large Victorian home in a Historic Neighborhood, built in 1882. We had a challenge on our hands when we sought to enhance our family's living and social space on a fairly small lot which we ambitiously wanted to populate with a new swimming pool, landscaping, three-car garage, mudroom, family room, and bathhouse/bar.
How could we do all of this with neighbor buy-in and Historic Commission sign-off for our Building Permit? Answer-Tom Wilcox, Architect. If you want to add to your existing structure, Tom will work with you to create the space you want while making sure that the addition follows the lines, overall flow, and form of your existing house. Tom believes that the best additions usually complement and blend into the existing structure as if they were a part of the original building.

Tom personally meets with every prospective new client and provides a free no-obligation consultation. This helps Tom discover your ideas, needs, hopes, and dreams for the project and allows him to examine the existing building or property. The budget and feasibility of the project will be addressed, and Wilcox Architecture's fee structure will be reviewed.
