Services
Rug Repair
Our expert technicians repair damaged rugs using traditional hand-weaving techniques. We restore frayed edges, replace missing sections, and reinforce weakened areas while maintaining original patterns. Each repair preserves the rug's historical and monetary value through careful material matching and authentic methods.
Antique Restoration
Specialized restoration for valuable antique rugs requires precise color matching and period-appropriate materials. We carefully analyze each piece's origin to determine appropriate repair methods. Our process maintains structural integrity while preserving historical authenticity through vegetable-dyed wool and traditional weaving techniques.
Rug Pads
We provide washable rug pads in three thickness options to protect both rugs and flooring. Our pads prevent slipping, reduce wear, and include optional pet urine barriers. Proper padding extends rug lifespan by distributing weight evenly and preventing moisture buildup beneath textiles.
Custom Rug Orders
Create bespoke rugs tailored to specific dimensions and design preferences. Our Turkish artisans weave custom pieces using traditional techniques and natural dyes. Clients may select from existing patterns or submit original designs for reproduction in authentic hand-knotted wool.
Workshop in Turkey
For complex repairs requiring specialized expertise, we coordinate shipping to our partner workshop in Turkey. Master weavers there handle intricate restorations using regionally sourced materials. This service combines local craftsmanship with global accessibility through our established logistics network.

Questions
What should I do immediately after spilling something on my rug?
Blot spills immediately with absorbent materials, working from edges toward center. Avoid pressing solids into fibers. Use water dilution with tray collection for thorough cleaning.
How should I store rugs long-term?
Store rugs rolled separately without plastic wrap in climate-controlled environments. Avoid garage storage due to humidity fluctuations that damage textiles.
Can cut rugs be restored to original size?
Yes, we can reconstruct damaged or cut rugs using matching materials. This requires specialized weaving to seamlessly integrate new sections with original patterns.
Do you handle large rug repairs?
We repair all sizes from small fragments to 10x14 foot pieces. Large projects receive special attention to pattern continuity and structural reinforcement.
How long do typical repairs take?
Repair duration varies by damage severity. Minor fixes take one week while extensive restorations may require 3-5 months for proper completion.
Can pet-damaged rugs be repaired?
Yes, we repair pet-related damage including chewed edges and urine stains. Our process includes structural reinforcement and odor removal treatments.

Mr. Solak recently repaired my old antique Persian carpet that was unraveling at both ends. He did a wonderful job of securing both ends and fixing the warps so that they were even. My carpet looks beautiful and is no longer coming apart. Mr. Solak very graciously dropped the carpet off at my home after it was repaired. I couldn't be happier. I stopped in to his rug repair studio and it was amazing... filled with naturally dyed yarns and divided by country of origin. It is clear that Mr. Solak has a passion for buying and restoring old carpets. Thanks to him, I am hoping my carpet will last

Solak did a great job cleaning and repairing my grandmother's rug. He is incredibly reliable and responsive. When it comes to repairs, he presents different options from basic to more extensive, which I really appreciated.
