Concrete pilings are concrete columns that are pushed into the ground under a foundation and are for homes and light commercial buildings. Steel pilings are double walled steel columns that are driven into the ground under a foundation. They are for homes and light commercial buildings. Non-toxic, water soluble chemicals (potassium ions and ammonium salts) are injected into the ground under your building.

Once they are installed, they can be used right away (concrete drilled piers must harden for a week before they can be used). In each location where a piling is going to be installed, a hole is dug next to the foundation. Each hole is about the size of a doormat. The holes go down to the bottom of your foundation.
Steel Pilings

Once your pilings are in place, your house can be leveled immediately. The leveling crew will raise your house to as near a level condition as possible, pour your concrete patches, replant your shrubs, rake and wash your yard, and power wash all affected paved areas. Unless interior pilings are installed, we will only need access inside your home during the leveling period to measure and monitor the raising of your slab.

Chemical Injection / Soil Injection Foundation Repair is when non-toxic, water soluble chemicals (potassium ions and ammonium salts) are injected into the ground under your building. These chemicals inhibit soil's ability to absorb water so that when it rains your soils do not swell up. Water sticks to almost anything including clay.
