Snare beds are the shallow, gradual relief cuts in the bottom bearing edge of a snare drum shell, where the snare wire straps cross the bearing edge to meet the throwoff. We provide hole drilling services for new drum shells that we sell and for drums you may already own.

Folchi, Precision Drum Company was the first provider of drum recovering wrap, selling the very same material that was being used by the major American drum companies. All of our custom drums are of the highest quality, hand crafted on our premises in New York using shells from Keller, RCI, and other quality sources. Drums have precision cut bearing edges that are sanded, polished, waxed and checked for flatness on a granite surface plate. With endless finish and hardware options, we can help you design custom drums that will be unique to filling your needs and desires.
