Founded in 2007, Shapiro Didway is a Portland, OR based landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm led by Principal Blair Didway. Our growing team of 13 landscape architects, designers, and professionals are passionate about exploring and expressing relationships between people and the built environment.

Shapiro Didway partners with design teams, public and private clients, and the community to create engaging spaces with sustained value. Over the past 13 years, we have designed for over 100 multi-family housing developments.
Our portfolio has grown to include community-driven open space projects, urban planning, campus master plans, healthcare centers, and waterfront developments throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our team is fluent in site programming, design through construction, recreation enhancements, public involvement, and playscapes with a focus on nature play and outdoor learning.

We are conveniently located near the Streetcar, multiple bus lines, and the Willamette River Greenway. Visitors our kindly encouraged to travel by alternative transportation. Bike storage is available to all guests. We are currently hiring for a paid entry-level Graphic Design Internship, a mid-level Landscape Architect/Designer, and a senior-level Landscape Architect.
