Our company was founded in 1972 by Kent entrepreneur Ian Pierson when he was aged just 22. After completing a commercial apprenticeship he went to work for a heating installation company in London, mainly involved with sales and marketing. This company ran into trouble and ceased trading; it was this event that encouraged Mr Pierson to start Swale Heating.
