Why Go Solar
Start saving on day one of your solar energy system installation. The energy produced by your solar energy system will offset your utility bill, saving you money month after month. In addition to saving you money on your electric bill, installing solar on a home or commercial property increases its value.
How Solar Energy Works
Solar photovoltaics (PV) is the fastest growing renewable energy technology: ground or roof-mounted modules with photovoltaic cells that convert the sun's energy into electricity. With solar photovoltaic technology, the sun's energy is converted to usable electricity for your home or business. Read on to learn how it works.
Solar Energy FAQ
Net metering is a policy that allows businesses and homeowners to receive the full retail value for the electricity that their solar energy system produces. The term net metering refers to the method of accounting for the photovoltaic (PV) system's electricity production. Net metering allows utility customers with PV systems to use any excess electricity they produce to offset their electric bill.
Residential Solar
Your home is an investment. SolFarm works with our residential solar customers to design a PV system that will be cost-saving. SolFarm works with you to establish the design criteria for your unique system. Our NABCEP certified team has years of experience designing and installing solar electric systems; rooftop and ground mounts.
Non-Profit Solar Energy
Non-profit organizations can benefit greatly from solar energy. As energy rates continue to rise, this growing overhead can be a burden. A solar energy installation allows for non-profits to hedge these rising costs by reducing energy costs now and for decades to come. Non-profits, typically tax-exempt, do have their challenges in going solar in that they are not directly able to take advantage of the Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC).
