Off Duty Chimney Sweeps

Founded in 2011, Off Duty Chimney Sweeps is a firefighter-owned and operated business dedicated to fire prevention through professional chimney, dryer vent cleaning, and fire safety inspections. Our certified technicians prioritize safety and meticulous service, treating every home as if it were our own. With over two decades of combined firefighting expertise, we specialize in identifying and mitigating fire hazards, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. We serve the Metroplex area, offering free in-home fire safety assessments conducted by active firefighters, and emphasize annual chimney inspections as recommended by the National Fire Protection Association. Our commitment to client safety extends beyond cleaning; we educate homeowners on fire prevention, deliver thorough cleanups with minimal disruption, and maintain transparent communication.

By combining frontline emergency response knowledge with hands-on residential service, we aim to reduce preventable house fires caused by neglected chimneys and vents. Our team's extensive experience in fire science ensures every job meets rigorous safety benchmarks, providing peace of mind to families. We measure success by the trust earned through reliable service, technical proficiency, and adherence to ethical business practices. By focusing on prevention rather than reaction, we strive to be the community's first defense against home fire hazards.
