Our founder Pat McDougall began his began his career building pools in Southern Connecticut in 1984. He quickly realized he could utilize a variety of construction and mechanical skills past down from his father such as excavation, masonry, hydraulics, etc. It became the perfect career move. After years working in these various capacities, Pat set out on his own opening Newtown Pools in 1994.

Newtown Pools has proudly been servicing pools in the area for almost 25 years. Newtown Pools opens and closes approx. 400+ pools every pool season, and maintains approx 100+ pools every pool season. 80% of our service business is recurring, and that is something we value very highly and are very proud of.
