Custom Awnings
Our custom awnings provide tailored shade solutions for residential patios and commercial spaces. Using durable Sunbrella and SunPro fabrics, we create weather-resistant installations that enhance outdoor living areas while protecting against Erie's variable climate. Each awning is professionally measured and fabricated to match architectural specifications. The retractable options offer convenient sun control with motorized operation available for added convenience.
Winter Curtains
Extend outdoor usability through Erie's cold months with our custom winter curtain systems. Available in motorized or rope-and-pulley configurations, these weatherproof enclosures create temperature-controlled spaces on decks and patios. Constructed from heavy-duty vinyl materials, they provide wind protection while maintaining visibility. Professional installation ensures proper sealing against cold air infiltration.
Industrial Sewing
Specialized industrial sewing services for commercial applications include fabrication of transport bags, connection boots, and specialty covers. We work with industrial mesh, dunnage fabric, and heavy-duty vinyl materials to create custom solutions for manufacturing, transportation, and security sectors. Our sewing capabilities handle large-scale projects with precision tailoring for specific equipment requirements.
Commercial Awnings
Enhance business visibility and customer comfort with our commercial awning solutions. We design and install storefront canopies, entrance awnings, and backlit signage systems that increase curb appeal while providing weather protection. Custom color matching and branding options help businesses create distinctive architectural features that attract customers and improve outdoor space utilization.
Motorized Systems
Advanced motorized awning and curtain systems offer convenient climate control with push-button operation. These automated solutions integrate with smart home systems for seamless operation, adjusting to changing weather conditions automatically. Professional from first contact. Michele and company took me through the process, answered all my questions and delivered and installed a quality product. Attention to detail was much appreciated. The install crew knew their stuff and didn't waste a moment of employer time putting my awning in place. Would highly recommend Al's Awning Shop!

We had to have our back awning taken down so the guys replacing our damaged roof and gutters could work on that side. I called and spoke to Ashley who was most helpful. She was able to contact the crew and squeeze us in that day. Brandon and Kyle took the awning down and folded and rolled it up so nicely to keep in or garage. After a few more rain delays, the work got done and the crew from Als came right back out and rehung our deck awning. Great customer service! We really appreciate that. Thank you!!

I stopped in with the awning off our camper that had a torn-off mounting piece. They were so kind and quick and inexpensive to get it sewn back on. We will be going camping soon thanks to Al's Awning Shop, Inc! Very pleasant experience. I can't recommend them highly enough!
