An entrepreneur at heart, Albert Rodenhouse Sr. started building wooden storm windows in 1939. This was in addition to building new homes and converting and installing electric into homes in the Grand Rapids area. His three sons, Al Jr., Bob, and Ken carried on family tradition of owning and operating many businesses.
