Services
Fireplace Repair
Our fireplace repair services address creosote buildup, animal nests, and structural issues to ensure safe, efficient operation. Certified technicians use rotating whips and closed-circuit cameras to clean and assess systems, preventing chimney fires and carbon monoxide exposure. We follow fire safety codes to restore functionality and safety.
Chimney Cleaning
Professional chimney cleaning removes soot, ash, and debris using high-powered vacuums and advanced tools. This prevents blockages, improves airflow, and reduces fire risks. Our technicians tailor methods to your chimney type, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maximizing system efficiency for long-term performance.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning eliminates lint buildup that poses fire hazards and reduces dryer efficiency. Using rotating brushes and vacuums, we clear obstructions from the dryer trap to exterior vents. This service improves airflow, lowers energy costs, and prevents dangerous fires in residential and commercial laundry facilities.
Commercial Services
We provide comprehensive chimney, fireplace, and dryer vent services for commercial properties, including restaurants and hotels. Our team ensures compliance with fire codes through inspections, cleanings, and repairs. Services include tuckpointing, liner installations, and code-compliant maintenance to prevent hazards and operational disruptions in commercial settings.
Inspections
Our inspections use video camera scans to identify cracks, leaks, or obstructions in chimneys and vents. Technicians document issues with photos and reports, offering tailored repair recommendations. Annual inspections ensure compliance, prevent safety risks, and extend the lifespan of your heating systems through proactive maintenance.

The chimney hadn't been used in almost 30 years, so I was anxious on a number of levels, but the folks at Swept Away were just wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all so professional. In a matter of two weeks, they had my fireplace up and working and I can't thank themor recommend them enough. If you need fireplace professionals these are the people to go to. Thank you!

After contacting a number of companies to try having our dryer vent cleaned in our 3 story townhome, I found Swept Away. Upon arrival, just through discussion they had an idea of what the issue could be and found it to be correct - the roofers that recently replaced the roof covered the vent cap with a screen causing about a 1/2" layer of lent to become trapped and blocking air flow from the exhaust vent. Not only did they clear the vent, but they also provided a copy of the building codes which outlines that the vent can not be screened. We will be using them in the future for normal maintenance
