Called when they were about to head to my house, showed up when they said they would, took off their shoes, protected the floor and walls while cleaning out the mainline, did a thorough job and there were no surprises with the charges. A) Drains back up for a variety of reasons including: (1) Roots. Any line with improper or worn seals will allow roots to grow through the seams; (2) Improper installation of the drain line; (3) Objects that should not be flushed, including wet wipes, paper towels, feminine products and grease. A Yes, it's a good idea to have your main line cleaned at least every five years.
