At Norriton Hearing Center it is our mission to provide customized professional hearing healthcare to individuals with hearing loss and their families. We strive to maintain an environment that invites a collaborative approach to managing hearing loss and its barriers. This is done by administering a comprehensive audiological hearing assessment, surveying an individual's communication needs, and educating patients regarding ALL of their options.

This approach provides our patients with the satisfaction of knowing that they are making the best decisions for themselves. Norriton Hearing Center is NOT corporate owned. We have access to all major manufacturers and thus are able to select the most appropriate devices on the market for any one individual.

No one hearing aid manufacturer has a hearing aid that is best for all. Dr. Jorge S. Zavala is currently the sole provider and owner of the practice. He is a Doctor of Audiology dedicated to patient care and education. His unique experience and caring manner lead to an environment of trust, loyalty, and most importantly success for the patient.

We keep a supply of batteries for you to purchase in our office. Stop in routinely for fresh batteries. Make sure to check the batteries in your hearing devices often and make sure there is no dirt, wax or debris interfering with the batteries performance.
Audiologic Evaluations
Report
If you have been referred for a diagnostic audiologic evaluation, it means that hearing loss needs to be ruled out or further examined. The diagnostic audiologic evaluation may be indicated for individuals who did not pass an initial hearing screening. The evaluation is done to determine if a hearing loss is present, and if so, to detail the type and severity of the hearing loss.
Cell Phone Accessories
Report
Although the FCC now requires that hearing aid compatible (HAC) cell phones meet strict guidelines for quality, some hearing aid users wish to further improve their cell phone experience. Add-on devices and cell phone accessories can make cell phones even more compatible with hearing aids. Telecoil (also known as t-switch or t-coil) is a telephone switch feature that is now built in to about 45% of all hearing aids.
Earmolds and Earplugs
Report
Sudden or prolonged exposure to noise can cause damage to your hearing and is one of the leading causes of hearing loss. Hearing loss from prolonged noise exposure is often detected too late, meaning the hearing loss is usually irreversible.
