Prior to contacting West Coast Awnings, I've reached out to 2 other companies to get a quote. Although the other 2 have given me a slightly lower price, I'm glad I went with this company. Inna is very responsive and walked me through the process (including getting approval from HOA), expectations, and timeline. They are always on schedule, from getting the plans completed, dropping the materials ahead of schedule, and scheduling the installation. I have been wanting a patio cover for years. My patio faces full west and the family room gets unbearably hot in the summer. I finally made up my mind to get a patio cover this year and, after contacting over a half dozen contractors , I met up with Dan to go over his quote, which was really reasonable. He was really professional and even made some great suggestions in terms of design (i.e. adding faux beams for the ceiling lights as can be seen in the photos). Dan and his crew just installed my patio today. Long story short. In July, my old patio got damaged by some limbs from my neighbor's tree. I contacted a few patio companies on yelp. West Coast Awnings has the most and positive views and their price is the cheapest. Made a schedule for Dan to swing by to do some measurements and finalize the what style I want and actual quote. While the price is one factor(not by a whole lot), the number of positive reviews and Dan being a very nice guy, easy to talk to are really what I decided to hand him the job. Awning went up fast and is fine. They even did a great job matching paint color where an existing down spout had to be moved. Would NOT recommend for electrical work (awning fan/outlet etc). Day after west coast awnings left, an existing dimmer switch blew (same switch box, different circuit). Dug into it and found during install they drilled/cut into two existing wires, taped all the broken wires together, and put it back. Accidents happen, but to not say anything, and think you could tape two separate broken wires together, is unacceptable and dangerous.

Top notch work from beginning to end and I couldn't be happier with my new patio cover. Everyone I worked with at West Coast Awnings was great from my initial contact at the beginning to the info about my permit inspection after the work was done. Any questions I had were answered quickly and they kept me informed throughout the whole process. Installation took one day and everything went smooth. I'm so glad I went with them based on other reviews.

We just want to say thank you to the owners Dan and Inna, and the whole team for such an amazing job on our patio cover! We are so happy. This was the piece that completed our backyard. Everyone was so nice and professional. Super responsive and friendly. Never pressured us to decide or upgrade. Totally listened to our concept and blew us away with the results! We feel blessed to have found this company! It turned out wayyyy better than we imagined. Had other quotes for the same price but did not include the speaker. Let me tell you they are the only ones who install speakers into the actual beam
