We offer over 100 acres of nature nestled in the Pisgah National Forest just a few miles from Hot Springs NC. We are rustic, romantic and remote. Our Sundance cabin and our Stardance cabin are pet friendly and our acreage is a perfect place to spend time with your four legged friend.
There is plenty of hiking available including a short hike to a beautiful waterfall on our property. We have trails that link up with the Appalachian Trail offering you the possiblitiy of endless hiking. We also have a labyrinth for you to enjoy. Our romantic log cabins are perfect for your North Carolina Smoky mountains vacation or intimate weekend getaway accommodations.
They are also very suitable for a personal mountain retreat. All of our cozy cabins are well equipped, and include all the amenities that you need, like a nice comfortable bed, fireplace, Wifi, internet TV, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen and your own private hot tub.

We are Tom and Rebecca Gahagan and we are the owners. We live in paradise and we are happy that we can share this special place with you. Our property runs from the creek to the ridge and is surrounded by national forest, so the possibilities are endless. The cabins are well situated to offer much space and privacy.

Please be aware that most of these devices are based on a road system mapped in the 1930's. Although these might have been good roads in their day, some of these roads are now hiking trails or ATV trails at best. Please know that you do not have to go down any dirt roads to get here. Our drive is the only dirt road you need to drive on.

Just imagine sitting on the front porch of your romantic honeymoon cabin and rocking in your rocking chairs to the fresh bubbly sounds of the trout stream. Imagine listening to the chirping of the tree frogs and the bubbling creek while you are rocking on the porch or soaking in the hot tub. The Sundance is our most rustic and remote cabin. As a result, it makes the perfect retreat for your honeymoon, personal retreat, anniversary, or special day. You are also invited to bring along your pet if you like. Just give us a call. Because it sits on the edge of the forest with the hot tub out on a platform under the stars, it is a remarkable place to enjoy nature at its finest.
