Ryan Tree Service
Besides a tree being dead, there is a basic growth pattern to a tree. We all know trees require light to grow, soil and water. You as a homeowner can start by walking around your house, taking a look at the trees closest to the house. You should notice that most of the limbs on the inside of the tree are growing toward the house.

Walk up to the base of the tree and look up. If the actual trunk of the tree is leaning toward the house as well, the severity of that lean can help determine the possibility of that tree falling on your house. If the tree is not leaning to far towards the house, it should be either crotch dropped (topping technique), lower limb weight reduction or removed if necessary.

We believe that saving a tree is always the first option, but if the directional lean of the trunk and limbs are too close, then sometimes it is best to remove it, for your safety. Another thing you can do is walk around the base of the tree, look for mushrooms growing on the side, black carpenter ants and any obstacles (sidewalks, driveway, etc) that could have altered the natural growth pattern of the roots.

In the tree industry, recycling at the level Ryan Tree Service does, is not an easy task. But it is one we have under-taken. In the recycling process there are many different steps you can take to really make a difference. The first is the most common, which is taking the logs from the trees we cut and take them to our lot where they are sorted by types of wood and taken to the appropriate mill.
