Service Monkey began in 1993 as a full-service fireplace company servicing all of Summit County and the Vail Valley, in Colorado. We offer a range of products and services from gas and wood fireplace maintenance and repairs, chimney sweeps, dryer vent cleaning, seasonal gas line installation and seasonal installation of new fireplaces and stoves.
We work with residential as well as commercial customers. Our well-qualified staff provides over 50 years of combined experience in our field. CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians and a NFI Certified Pellet Specialist on staff. Dan Akers, the owner, is also a CSIA Master Chimney Sweep, a credential that takes over 10 years to earn and only 30 people in the nation hold!
