On 1/7/2022 we woke up to -33 degrees. We had an installation of a split system air conditioning/heat pump system at our home scheduled as we were looking for a second heating source. I had every intention of canceling due to the weather but shortly before 8a.m. the installation team of Mike and Chris showed up at our home. They stated they wanted to go ahead and do the I installation regardless of the weather. I told them they could come in as much as they needed to keep warm. Mike and Chris were two very personable men, very professional and did a great installation job in horribly cold weather

I had Brian(?) out to my cabin to get a quote on a mini-split system. Brian told me he would email me the quote the next day. After two days, I hadn't received the quote, so I called SCR and left a message for Brian to please send me the quote. After 1 week, still no quote. I called one more time, and I even explained that the quote may have been sent to the wrong email address (people frequently put an 'n' in the middle of my last name). I never received the quote, and no one ever followed up. Why didn't SCR just say they didn't want to do the job? What a complete waste of time.

They charged me 141 to come out and put in a new part. Plus the price of the part and shipping. They charhed me time to come out and back to their shop which i was told they dont do. I will never use them again. They are a rip off. I should have read their reviews before using them and not took them on their word.

I had them come out for a tune up and apparently needed a part. She told me the cost of the part around $111.00 with $25.00 for shipping and then $95.00 for labor. She failed to tell me that they charge from their office to my home and back to the office. I had asked about those kinds of charges when I stopped in to set up my 1st appointment and they said they don't add on charges like that.
Well yes they do cause my bill came to over $277.00 much more than I was quoted. I won't give them any business in the future. They are crooks. Not to mention leave a dirty mess when they leave and

Requested a shower valve replaced. This company are crooks. They sent a bill for over $1000 which is outrageous. Claimed to install parts that was never installed and did work that wasn't required (cut entire pvc line out from shut off to shower valve both hot and cold when there was not anything wrong with either one). Then Brenden had the audacity to say it was a complicated plumbing job after I had opened up the access panel and all lines were out in the open. The plumber says he took over 3 hours for the job and I could have done it myself in less than an hour. NEVER NEVER USE THIS
