Mike and Larry Herring grew up in the rental property industry (their folks had rental homes). They were their dad's plumber before they were anyone else's plumber. So when someone had plumbing needs they would say with a grin, "Call my dad's plumber." In 2007, Mike and his wife Jeanne started "My Dad's Plumber", working out of their home and the new Isuzu box truck.
The only advertising they had was the big sign on the side of that truck and word of mouth. With the help of their loyal customers, MDP has grown to a nine-vehicle fleet.
