Actually deserve NO STARS
Totally not satisfied , required to pay in full for fireplace logs,
when arrived would not work in the fireplace, was told would be a 25% re-stock fee,
Then when product was returned to the store
at store was told would not allow a return, because they did not have the original box for return...
(the original service man had taken the box from site)
A huge waste of $$$$$$ now have very expensive, useless, Styrofoam logs. Be Aware!!!!!!!
we said from the beginning we wanted natural gas installation,
NOT LP
we were told that was not possible by your service person

We have Heat and Glow Fireplaces, Steve their Tech was VERY knowledgeable, efficient and polite. He also cleaned up after the work was done. :) I certainly will be recommending Shields to all my friends.

They have been out to my house before, but the lady I talked to told me before when looking at her schedule that I should find someone closer, then hung up on me. All to connect a gas line back on my stove.

Rating is based on service of potential customer and communication. I wasted several days of my time trying to get a quote to install a wood stove I had purchased. Spoke with two different people: fist person said someone would have visit our home to provide an accurate quote. I called again to schedule a visit and spoke with Cindy who said she could provide an estimate over the phone and by email.
I had explained to both people which brand and model stove I wanted installed. In the end, I was told they don't install stoves without an owners manual nor do they install "Menards" stoves. When I explained

It is with disappointment that I even have to leave a less than stellar review of a business however I am very dissatisfied with the way our furnace repair was handled. Sheilds had been the business that had installed our furnace 2 years ago and had placed stickers with contact info on the equipment they had installed so with that I would think that this was their way of saying "Should you have any issues, please call us.". I guess I was wrong! We had set up a repair appointment, my wife had rearranged her day to accommodate being home for whenever it was that the repair man could fit us into his
