The primary purpose of Texas Master Gardeners as a non-profit, educational organization is to increase the public's knowledge of gardening. We achieve this goal through horticultural classes, demonstration gardens, Plant Sales and programs. Master Gardeners: remember to retain your certification you need to report your volunteer and continuing education hours. Guadalupe County Master Gardeners, Interns and Students will enter their own Master Gardener volunteer and continuing education hours on line. To retain Master Gardener re-certification, each calendar year you need to participate in 12 hours of GCMG volunteer activity and 6 hours of continuing education.
GCMG Speaker’s Bureau
Report
The Guadalupe County Master Gardeners (GCMG) has a Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau can provide public presentations; deliver research-based information to various community organizations in Guadalupe County and surrounding areas. We invite requests from garden clubs, public libraries, neighborhood magazines, schools, churches, business organizations, neighborhood associations, and civic groups.
