Planted walls can match the furniture, and provide transformative, inspirational, esoteric experience, and also fresh air (literally). Living walls are now qualifying for 1% For Art grants and other incentives, as noted below. Metropolis Magazine highlighted Habitat Horticulture's Oakland, California living wall, titled "Urban Ecotones."
