Meadowbrook has been using the latest in mulch technology since 1999: the Mulch Blower! Our eight machines have the capacity to hold 165 cubic yards of material, with remote control capability by our operator. Silt socks are a tubular mesh product, filled with a custom woodchip compost blend. They form a portable, easily installed, highly effective alternative to traditional erosion control methods.
Overseeding is a process that can quickly give a lawn the boost that it needs. By seeding with compost, we are adding important nutrients, loosening the soil and increasing the water-holding capacity. Meadowbrook supplies and installs a wood fiber product that is certified by the IPEMA and meets the ADA safety standard for playground safety.
In addition to trucking, we offer a host of other services including loader work, snow removal, snow plowing, dump truck, dump trailer and low bed services. Meadowbrook did such a great job with our erosion issues that we've hire them for three other projects!

High Speed Mulch
Meadowbrook has been using the latest in mulch technology since 1999: the Mulch Blower! Our eight machines have the capacity to hold 165 cubic yards of material, with remote control capability by our operator. This allows unmatched control of the installation, with mulch being blown gently into the mulch beds around delicate flowers and shrubs, or adjusted quickly for high speed coverage of larger, more open areas.
Silt Sock
Silt socks are a tubular mesh product, filled with a custom woodchip blend. They form a portable, easily installed, highly effective alternative to traditional erosion control methods in virtually every application. By utilizing the technology of our pneumatic blower trucks, we are able to apply product in hard to reach areas, while causing very little disturbance to sensitive environments.
Overseeding
Overseeding is a process that can quickly give a lawn the boost that it needs. By seeding with compost, we are adding important nutrients, loosening the soil and increasing the water-holding capacity, giving the lawn all the ingredients it needs to thrive. We use a drag mat to break up the plugs created by aerating and to force the compost and seed into the aeration holes.
Playground Safety Fiber
Approximately three quarters of all playground accidents are caused by a fall on the playground. Meadowbrook supplies and installs a wood fiber product that is certified by the IPEMA and meets the ADA safety standard for playground safety. The wood fiber product offers superior cushioning in the event of a fall.

Filter Sock – Faster, Easier, More Effective
We install the filter sock with our blower trucks along the path that the engineer marks out. With the ability to reach 250' from our trucks, most jobs are easily installed with no disturbance to the protected area. The filter sock is filled in place, and the weight of the sock keeps ground contact and does not allow any unfiltered water to pass.
