Azari has employed a traditional process of cleaning handmade rugs for over 25 years. Our process begins by gently bathing your rug to loosen deeply embedded soil. Next we apply our hand mixed and environmentally-friendly shampoo, scrub your rug, and give extra attention to the soiled areas. Finally, your rug gets a rinse and is hung to air dry.

This service is available for both rugs purchased at Azari as well as previously purchased rugs. We believe your rug should be evaluated often to prevent tears, worn spots or frazzled ends before becoming a larger, more expensive restoration.

Vacuuming is one of the best preventative measures for keeping your rug healthy and restoring life to the natural fibers. Vacuum regularly but be careful not to vacuum the fringe. This isn't good for the rug or the vacuum cleaner! Rug Padding is recommended for all rugs that receive any amount of foot traffic.
